Hi to all PA FTC Teams and Volunteers,
It is officially springtime! Now only if the weather would cooperate consistently. As always, we hope you are all well and enjoying a respite from the FTC PA season enjoying spring break or perhaps thinking about your vacations.
As published in our last email blast #21 back in February, we announced a PA Off Season event called Kennett Square Off to be held on May 30th, 2026. This turned out to be a very popular event and filled up to its 24-team capacity very quickly, with another 7 teams currently on the Waitlist. https://www.ftcpenn.org/ftc-events/2025-2026-season/kennett-square-off
We are thrilled to announce the addition of another Team Powered, Off Season event thanks to host FTC Team 17458 Bensalem Misfits and the support of the Bensalem FIRST Community of teams and volunteers. It will be another 24-team competition called Misfit Midway and it is planned for Saturday, May 16th. As you recall, two of our season Qualifiers on Jen 31st and Feb 1st were at the Bensalem HS, and they were incredible events of 36 teams each. The challenge game will be the same as this past season however there will not be any judging, just pure on-field competitive fun. Also, it will be held in the school cafeteria and not the gymnasium. For details and agenda, please go to our website:

We hope to see you there!
Advancing Championship and Premier Events:
As a result of our PA Championship, we had 15 teams eligible for advancement to the FTC Championship in Houston (6 slots) or a Premier Event (9 slots). Teams had a short window of only 3 days to make their decisions and set priorities for the desired events through FIRST HQ. Great news! We our teams have been invited to their respective first choices for either the FTC Championship in Houston or a Premier Event. We know PA will be well represented from both a competitive and G.P. perspective. Good luck to all our advancing teams. Results follow. Please CONGRATUATE and wish these teams well and the best of luck as the competition will be substantial at each and every one of these events.
