FTC PA 2025-26 Season Blast #21 – Qualifier Results and Off Season Event

Hi to all PA FTC Teams and Volunteers,

We hope you are all well and looking forward to springtime. Despite the cold and snowy weather this winter we are thrilled that we did not need to postpone or cancel any of our 12 qualifiers for the DECODE® presented by RTX season, although we are sorry that a few teams’ ability to participate were affected. That is why we are presenting another opportunity to compete at an Off Season event called the Kennett Square Off on May 30th, 2026. There are only 24 slots open due to venue size so if you are interested, please register as usual on our registration page. See the link for more details regarding this unique event based on this season’s game. We call it RECODE

We want to take time to sincerely thank our Qualifier host teams, schools and venues for making the season possible. The enthusiasm and gracious professionalism brought by the hundreds of volunteers and support organizations proved that Pennsylvania and our affiliated teams enjoy one of the best FTC programs in the country due to the work, skills, energy and true sense of fun brought on by everyone involved in the planning and execution of our events. THANK YOU!

This is a reminder that seasonal results for each qualifier can be found on our website. You can find your individual performance results in several ways. If you earned an Award, you may find the text of the Judges’ comments that were announced during the ceremonies by clicking on and opening the “Award Details” tab indicated with the associated award.

Next stop for our 40 advancing teams is the PA Championship to be held at Saucon Valley Elementary/Middle School Sat and Sun March 14th and 15th, 2026. This will be the 4th time we will hold the Championship at this venue. We thank Bob Svitilla, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, and Robotics Teacher at Saucon Valley School District, the district itself and FTC Teams 17334 Panthera Robotica, 18284 Panthera Mu, 19831 Panthera Gamma, and 24217 Panthera Psi for their continued support. We have 39 teams confirmed and expect to have the full complement of 40 secured over this weekend.

We are proud to announce that a total of 15 teams will be Advancing to additional Global events, 6 reserved for FIRST Championship and 9 who will be eligible for Premier Events, so there is a lot on the line. For more information:

We also congratulate the 30 Leadership Award Semi-Finalists (formerly Dean’s List) who were nominated by their coaches/mentors and were interviewed to determine the 4 Winners who will be announced at the PA Championship. New/replacement badges will be provided to the semi-finalists regardless of whether you have already received a badge recognizing your accomplishment. The profiles of the 4 Winners have been provided to FIRST and will be among the thousand plus winners from other regions in consideration of the top 10 Global Finalists who will be announced at the FTC Championship in Houston, TX at the end of April. You do not have to attend either championship event to accept the honor, it is earned by you and yours regardless of attendance.

Thanks again to everyone who contributed and participated in all our events. Pennsylvania FIRST Robotics does indeed have a bright and growing future.

All the best.
