Hi FTC Teams and Volunteers,

Please share this email with your team; students, coaches, mentors and parents.

As of today, we have posted the Web Conferencing GoToMeeting link for the upcoming Freight Frenzy kickoff for this Saturday, September 18th as well as the two Coaches Calls scheduled for this month, both on Wednesdays at 7:30 PM, September 22nd and 29th.  Please go to our website EVENT page for the details and links.

As stated in our last email we plan on opening the day by 11:15 AM with a presentation and overview of the FTC Pennsylvania Season hopefully including the review of our live Qualification Tournament sites that we are continuing to secure. Besides multiple “Traditional” events we may also conduct a Remote Tournament as well. More to come in this regard.

The official FIRST Kickoff Celebration and game reveal videos of the FREIGHT FRENZY season will be held at 12:00 pm, so all teams regardless of global location can enjoy the FIRST HQ celebration and game reveal online. This will be broadcast on FIRSTtv however we plan on switching over to the planned FIRSTTv programming as well. Teams may listen in with us or tune in on their own. We expect the official FIRST season introduction and game reveal to be less than 45 minutes. Following the video, we will then cut back to our own livestream at 12:45 PM where our Head Referee Noah Dillard and others will review the game in detail. This will be your opportunity to participate in a live Q&A forum on actual field assembly, set up, layout and game rules. We will keep this open until we are satisfied that YOU are satisfied.

In addition, if team(s) do want to host Kickoff parties and invite other teams in their regions for the festivities and cool socializing and brainstorming activities please let us know, we would be happy to forward your invitation to others. In this regard we are happy to announce another team get-together (in addition to Mars Robotics Association kickoff event shared in a September 8th email from us).
