PA FTC State Championship – Important Info

Hello PA State Championship Teams and Volunteers!

Congratulations on your hard and smart work resulting in the advancement of your team to the PA FTC State Championship of the Ultimate Goal challenge, to be held Wednesday through Sunday, May 19th – 23rd. Awesome performance throughout this season. You have all deservedly earned your place in this 24 team, single division Remote tournament.

This communique is our first to provide you some important information to get you and your team prepared for this event. Please be sure to share this with your students as well.

First of all, please be aware that this is a stand-alone competition, that is your compiled scores and rankings from your respective League Tournaments does not carry over or impact your scoring in the State Championship. Neither does the Judged award results. You are all participating on a new and level playing field. Please note that this is reflected in the “Rankings” and “Match List” sections of the Remote Scoring system which lists all 24 teams in numerical order.

Second, the agenda for the State Championship is already set following the same sequence of days and times that you followed in the League Championships. The following link also lists the 24 teams (8 from each League) who have advanced including the specific Advancement Award received. Rankings and Scores can still be referenced in webpage for each of the respective League Tournaments that the team advanced from.

As usual, the times and links are dedicated to your team so you can go in and practice and prepare at your leisure.
