3. Pennsylvania FTC Championship – Will be open for registration to all teams that earn advancement from our 10 Qualifiers. We have secured the following:

Date: Saturday (and potentially Sunday) Mar 16th and 17th

Venue: Saucon Valley Middle School, Hellertown, PA

This is the same venue from the last few years. At this time, we have secured Sat the 16th for sure but may expand to a two-day tournament where teams would arrive at 12:00 Noon on Saturday and we would complete inspections and Judge interviews. On Sunday we would blast through the qualifiers, semi-finals and finals and have a great awards celebration. This will be a 36-team event and we welcome your feedback and comments regarding a 2-day Championship.

Thank you to Bob Svitilla and the FTC teams 18284 Panthera Mu, 19831 Panthera Gamma, 24217 Panthera Psi and, 17334 Panthera Robotica for making this happen!

General Event Registration Information

Prior to registering, please carefully read the Event Participation Policy:

https://www.ftcpenn.org/event-registration/event-participation-policy

For this season it may be possible for Out-of-State teams to compete in PA, however in our registration process, PA teams are given preference and priority over out-of-state teams. Also, per Game Manual 1 section 6.1 Eligibility for Advancement – Teams are only eligible to advance from events within their Home Region. Teams may choose to compete at Tournaments outside of their Home Region, however, do so for the opportunity of additional gameplay and to compete with other teams from outside of their area. Teams may NOT advance from Tournaments outside of their Home Region.

Please read the Processing Event Registration Requests section and let us know if you have any questions.
